Using Technology To Convert Enquiries To Sales
A new mobile application, Net2Rep, can provide your website with a 'Call Me' button that relays sales enquiries directly to a sales rep’s mobile phone. Reps can then call the website visitor back before they leave the site. The service, created by mobile phone application developers Smartnote.ie, also tracks enquiries online for future reference. The whole package has a price point of just 18 euros per month.
According to Eamonn Elders, of Creation Station, a company that specializes in providing point of sale material for retail outlets around Ireland, the service has been an indispensable way of turning sales enquires into solid leads. ‘I’m on the road a lot, so to rely on email enquires would mean that there’s going to be a gap between the time the visitor sends the mail and when I manage to contact the enquirer. While my site is excellent at attracting visitors who are interested in the services I provide, I need to talk to them directly to try and convert that interest into a solid lead. With Net2Rep I can do that immediately. Potential clients are often surprised that I’m ringing them a couple of seconds after they have clicked the Call Me button on my site’.
Net2Rep can appear on your site in one of two ways, as a Call Me button or as seamlessly integrated form within your site. When the Call Me button is used the visitor clicks the button and a popup form appears asking them to enter their contact details and perhaps a comment (the message can be as large as 420 characters). When they click the Call Me button at the bottom of the form a text message is sent directly to the rep. A message then appears thanking the visitor for their interest and assures them that someone will be in touch soon. The rep can then contact the visitor while they are still on the site. It’s completely secure, as the rep’s phone number is kept private.
A history of enquiries is available for review any time using the websites inbuilt CRM function.
