Newspaper Licensing Ireland (NLI) Ltd was established in 2002 to promote a culture of copyright understanding and compliance. NLI represent the copyright intersts of national, regional and international newspaper publishers.

By making available a licence, NLI has made it easy for companies to
comply with Irish copyright legislation. Only companies that hold an NLI licence are permitted to copy and distribute content from newspapers publications.
