Doyle's Importers and Distributors is owned by the MP Doyle Group. It was formed when James Doyle, great-grandfather of the present owner Michael Doyle, opened Doyle's of the Shamrock for business on March 17th 1884.

When Michael Doyle became chairman and CEO of the company it employed ten people and consisted of a bar, grocery and hardware store. Under his guidance the group has flourished and today boasts an Importers and Distributors division, two successful hardware stores located in Carlow and Tullow respectively and two plant hire and machine sales businesses in Carlow and Tullow.

Doyle's Importers and Distributors was established in 1979. From humble origins, we are proud to say that Doyle's Importers and Distributors is now one of Ireland's leading suppliers of gardening and construction equipment.

Today we supply a range of top quality products that include tractor mowers, walk behind lawnmowers, brushcutters, hedgetrimmers, cement mixers, generators, spare parts and accessories, which are distributed to a wide network of dealers throughout Ireland. Doyle's Importers and Distributors enjoy an excellent relationship with many of Europe's top manufacturers such as Castelgarden, Stiga, Briggs & Stratton, Altrad/Belle and Efco to name but a few. Our expertise and strong after sales service has ensured that these, once little known brands, have now become household names in the Irish market.
